Monday blog love

Good gosh. It's March. March. Already!!! How did that happen? Rather unsettling how fast time/life, is flying by. Must make sure to mark the sweetness in each moment.

We passed a pleasant, low key, puttering around kind of weekend ... Saturday took car to the mechanic, went out for lovely coffee and oh so yummy pasty at Suzanne Goin's Tavern in Brentwood (did I say YUM?!), went to the fun kitchen supply store Surfas (on the hunt for a low priced dutch oven - dreaming of Le Creuset but don't have the king's ransom it costs WAH!), picked up lunch at their cafe (more yumminess), Sunday we went out to breakfast, fast trip to Barnes and Noble for latest Marie Claire Idees (YIPPIE!) and mega marketing trip to replenish naked refrigerator & pantry, and then lots of paperwork for me and school prep work for hubs.

My paperwork is of the crazy kind. Self made. Messy. whisper whisper are you a habitual magazine/newspaper, clipper/ripper, outer too?! OH! The sheer volume of it all. I let it get away from me. WOE IS ME. I am overwhelmed with paper. Places to go, trips to take, recipes to make, creative craftiness, books to read ... I could circle the world with all of this. So I'm sorting and filing and organizing ...

  2. Look at all these blogs! Where to begin? And don't ever feel bad about paper clutter. I have about 20 magazines stacked next to my bed. Some I'm saving because of a recipe, or a room I liked, or I thought the cover would be fun to cut up and collage. I'm afraid to look at the dates on them! LOL! Happy Monday! xox

  3. Hi Twyla!
I'm so glad you enjoyed Hortensia's! I just about squealed out loud when I saw the Matilda the mouse plate and the appliqued skiing quilt. CUTENESS!
    Happy week to you!

  4. Hi Pammie!
Do not fret, there won't be a test! ;) And please don't think I read all of those. First off, I collect them over time. Secondly, I drool over all the eye candy and then if something jumps out at me, then I read. Not enough time in the day to read everyone's blogs WAH!!!
I'm envying your twenty magazines - I have a bazillion. I am going to be one of those old ladies on the news that is killed by her stuff!!! bwhahhahahhaha
