If you hear something creaky

... that'd be me and my back. I must have slept, twisted like a pretzel, last night. My back hurts, my neck hurts. On top of it, I've been up since 4:20 this morning. Woe is me. All I want to do is go lay down and curl up with a book but there's so much to get done around here - how do two people and one doggie, wreak such havoc on a home?! I've done the minimum house frau froo frooing-up, plus run my errands and now I'm going to vegitate. After waving Hi to you guys, that is. Hellooooooooo! Happy Wednesday!

Oh! I invented something this morning teehee. I found a bag of peppermint truffle Hershey's Kisses (leftover from "the Christmas that never was" last year sniffle sniffle) and I plopped one in my hot chocolate and VOILA! Peppermint Hot Chocolate. mmmmm! Tasty!

I enjoyed hunting for inspiration for my St. Patrick's Day cards yesterday online - I think I found something really fun. If I haven't bitten off more than I can chew, I will show you down the road.

I found these fun things too ...

Chenille St. Patrick's Day Pins at Martha Stewart.

Cute door decoration tutorial from Vintage Image Craft.
Cute Leprechaun craft at Family Fun.

Darling Shamrock Boutonnieres at Martha Stewart.

Be inspired to make a charming St. Patrick's Day peg dollie like this one by the wonderful Wee Cute Treasures or purchase one at her Etsy shop. The one pictured above may be viewed on flickr at Wee Cute Treasures.

And oh my goodness! Look at this fantastic set up over at the awesome Michelle Wooderson's blog, Mish Mash! If that doesn't inspire you to get Easter crafting, nothing will!

  1. Wow - all those lovely St. Pat's decorations! Should I tell you I have a box of decorations in the attic above our garage, just waiting for me to schlep up there and retrieve them? Like BEFORE St. Pat's day? Honestly, you'd think I could manage that one thing. :) I am so sorry you've hurt your back. Take care of yourself, veg out, make little four-leaf clover people! :) xoxoxo Pam

  2. Hi Pam!
I have a few St. Paddy's day decorations myself and they're just down the hall and I still probably won't get them out on time. WAH! I seem to be going in slow motion these days. I am hoping to at least make some cards ... better hurry up and get on that.
May you schlep and have a most happy holiday! ;)
    Happy happy Thursday!
