Greetings from the home of the Undead

Thank you thank you thank you so very much for your sweet comments and get well wishes! You're all so sweet and I so appreciate it!

OWWWIE! My mouth hurts so much. WAH! I'm still alive, although I feel like I'm not! whimper whimper.

Dang rotten timing ... today is our anniversary and we were going to go out to this wonderful whoop-di-doo French restaurant (they have a wonderful seasonal Vegetarian Tasting Menu, hurray hurrah!) and celebrate but I feel like the walking dead ... well, not even as good as the walking dead. whine ...

So it's take out in front of the tube tonight and a lot of moaning, but of a different sort. bwaahahahahahhahahahaha

Oh! Hubs went on an errand of mercy for me today and picked up my embroidery patterns I had ordered from the needlework shop ... seasonal eye candy will now commence ...

  3. All your patterns look wonderful! So much fun! I feel for you in the dental area. I was struck with the toothache from you know where yesterday and have an appointment tomorrow to 'hopefully' get it pulled. Hope you're feeling better today. Hope you had a happy anniversary! Twyla

  4. Hi Lori!
Thank you so much for your comment - the one good thing about feeling like doodoo is that I can lay around and catch up on all of my reading. I'm having fun dreaming about new sewing projects and rediscovering some old craft books and I started a fun mystery book.
How is your floor going?! Are you nearing the finish line? I'll look forward to seeing photos!
    Happy Sunday to you!

  5. Hi Pam!
Thank you so much for your comment - I know, talk about sucky timing, huh?!!! WAH! Yes, we sure are going to the restaurant later on for a belated anniversary dinner YIPPIE! I can't wait - the food is so wonderful that you say "oooohhh" and "yummmmm" out loud with every bite! :)
The clerk at the needlework store even told my husband that the Christmas pattern is HUGE and she suggested I didn't even try to make the whole sampler, it's that BIG! Talk about having "eyes too big" for one's own good - I've really bitten off a project this time. That's definitely for another year. :)
    Happy Sunday to you!

  6. Hi Twyla!
I've missed you! I'm so sorry to hear that you've got a toothache too. Sending you lots of hugs!
Don't the charts look like a lot of fun?! I think I had better begin them in January, if I ever want to get them done for next years round of holidays - I'm such a slow poke and procrastinator.
Hope all goes well at the dentist for you!
    Happy Sunday!

  7. Yes, we're getting close-- one week to go I think! But in contractor's language I think that means 2-3 weeks more!! Its coming along but I am sick of not having a living room to lounge in or a bed to lounge in... I think I did more lounging than I thought!

  8. Hi Lori!
Oh no, that's a long bit yet. :(
I hate HATE having work done on the house. I guess I'm not very adaptable, it drives me nuts being thrown out of my routine and not having anywhere to get away from all the noise.
Sending you lots of hugs! May you find somewhere to take up residence and lounge to your hearts content! :)
