ARGH! I was hoping to post photos of my mom for her birthday yesterday (would have been her 89th - she passed away in 1996) and also join in Vintage Thingies Thursday but I just plumb ran out of time.
I'm racing around like a chicken with my head cut off over here, trying to get my niece's 18th birthday present together, which has to go out in the mail tomorrow - and not having much success. And I just found out that that my other niece got her Masters Degree, which my muddled middle aged brain forgot. YIKES.
So, Auntie has been thrown into overdrive and I'm not a fast worker. WAH!
I may go quiet until Monday ... please know I'm thinking of you and missing you all and wishing you a lovely weekend!
Fully understand how busy one can be, that's why I am just catching up with all the lovely ladies that stopped by my blog recently.
ReplyDeleteBTW your almanac was from the year I was born. LOL! Also relate to the award free blog bit, but fortunately I haven't had any awards for quite some time, thank heavens.
Hope you have a lovely weekend.
Warmest Hugs,
Sandi @ Bearly Sane
Go, Auntie, go! I also noticed you have a load of new followers...what fun, way to go busy bee. Also thank you for the kind words on the Father's day post and I understand how the Father/daughter bond can be different from our best hopes. Happy crafting!
ReplyDeleteHope you get it all done. Have a great weekend!

Hi Sandi!
ReplyDeleteNice to see you! Sorry I'm so late in getting back to you - it's a new week now. :( Well, truth be told, I'm not all that much younger than you (& my brother was born the year preceding the almanac).
Happy Tuesday!
Sally
Hi Jenny!
ReplyDeleteThanks, you're a sweetie pie to root me on! :)
I'm a bit in shock, I had my wee band of followers for so very long (thank you so much for hanging in there with me here!) and now I've got some newbies - pretty exciting!
Thanks for commiserating with about the familial relationship - my father and I seem to speak a different language and there is no Rosetta Stone to decipher what the other means. WAH! So very painful.
Hope you are all well!
Sally
Hi Leslie!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for your encouragement! I ran out of time - as usual, I started too late and bit off more than I could chew. WAH!
Hope all is well with you!
