Christmas in um, May

(Rednesday info & participant list at It's A Very Cherry World)

I'm still feeling a bit poorly over here, so I decided to grab what I already had on my computer ... save for the mystery book teehee ... a quick scan and VOILA!

I'm off to get some breakfast and then I'm going to come visit everybody.

Happy Rednesday!

  2. Hi Leslie,
Thank you for the get well wishes, this is the cold bug that wouldn't die. ARGH!
I have my mother to thank for all of this stuff - she was a stamp collector and a plate collector. Isn't the Dennis the Menace plate adorable?!
Coming over to visit you now. :)
    Happy Rednesday!

  4. M.C. Beaton is one of my favorite mystery authors! I just love that old Agatha Raisin! And that Dennis the Menace plate is so cute. I hope you feel better real soon. It seems that these colds lately are hanging on extra long for everybody!
    Happy REDnesday!

  5. Sally,
I think frozen charlottes are from a story about a girl who froze to death on the way to a ball. She was all dressed up. I have no idea if it's true or not.I've also heard them called penny dolls-because they used to cost that much. Things sure have changed. Yes the Dennis plate is so cute.

  6. Hi S.A.M., Sorry to hear you're not feeling well. I've read some Agatha Raisin mysteries, too. I like that she lives in the Cotswolds of England and is friends with the vicar's wife (although they certainly make an unlikely pair).
Thanks for the kind words about my DH feeling better - he's finished a round of antibiotics and ear drops and is definitely better :) Happy REDnesday~

  7. Hi! LOVE your Dennis the Menace Christmas plate! About the 100 Blessings, I was worried about 1" squares too, but I'm liking the challenge, and honestly, it's not as difficult as I feared it would be! You should join in. Others seem to keep trickling in, just starting too, and I think the more the merrier! LOVE seeing everybody's work! In fact I liked your Valentine UFO, a couple of posts back!! So CUTE! Happy Rednesday to you, and hope you feel better soon! ~tina

If I am not mistaken your first Christmas stamps are Bob Timberlake. I have a signed litiograph of that print. It is so very beautiful in person. Thanks for sharing. Have a fun Rednesday! Elizabeth

  11. Christmas is good to celebrate anytime of year...I think the world might be a better place if we had the Christmas spirit everyday!

Thoroughly enjoyed this post Sally and as for the bag you chose, I'd say you were a combination of business woman and soft femininity! Enjoy your REDnesday.

    Warmest Hugs,
