Please say a prayer, think a good thought for all of those who have lost their homes and all of their possessions and for those whose homes lie in the path of the fires and for the wonderful firemen and women - two firemen have tragically lost their lives.
We are approximately a half hour away from the big fire. Today the sky here is colored gray from the smoke of the fires. Yesterday, the clouds to the east of us looked like a mushroom cloud.

Sally, I have been playing catch up on your blog. Oh my goodness it is so easy to miss so much! I found your post about our blocks! How sweet of you! Boy was that ever fun! I find myself now in a tag swap. First time for me! Remember - meatloaf! Elizabeth
ReplyDeleteAmazing photos, tragic for so many families... We're about an hour and half from a fire over here in Oregon too-- tis the season.
ReplyDeleteHi Elizabeth!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for checking in and I know what you mean - it's so hard to keep apace.
I'm so glad you found my post about our blocks and that you enjoyed it. I had so much fun. Now I want to try another swap if I can find one that feels as comfortable as yours - that will probably be really hard, so many require multiple items or mass production. I will keep the meatloaf in mind. :)
I'll look forward to reading about your tag swap and seeing your darling tag/tags.
Sally
Hi Lori!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for visiting!
Oh no! I'm so sorry, I hadn't heard there's a fire in Oregon too. Our news has been constantly about the fires close at hand, so I guess they've left out news of out of state fires. I know, every year it's the same isn't it?! So heartbreaking.
