christmas cards

Christmas cards I gave long (long!) ago ...

Guessing this was my Kindergarten Christmas card?
Love how I wrote my name ... the two LL's in Sally
are below the SAY and then I wrote two letters of my last name.

This must be first or second grade???

These have to be from third grade,
as my best friend taught me how to write the
letter S in cursive in our third grade class.

So much fun to travel back and catch a glimpse of your childhood self!

  6. Merry Christmas, my sweet friend!
Oh...How adorable! Your Christmas cards to your Mommy and Daddy are so sweet. How nice that you have them to enjoy. Your Trinting and very impressive cursive are a delight.
thank you for your generous comment on my little red quilt. I had so much fun making it. I guess it's one of my favorites, too.
    Warmest Blessings, Sally!

  9. WOW!! Your Mom saved everything!! How fantastic!! That Christmas Card of Santa holding the doll and the play house in one hand --- I had a - "T'was the Night before Christmas" book with this same Santa on the front of the book - it was at least 12" - 13" tall and I loved the Santa book.

  12. Oh Sally, how cute! My senior mom is enjoying a similar journey, only she is weeding through pictures and notes sent to her by the grandkids and great grandkids through the years. Hard part is when they forgot to sign them. :) Christmas blessings to you! :)

  13. That is why I love cards. They are filled with memories and do not take up a lot of space. Yours are definitely keepers.
