Monday blog love

Oh my goodness, it's gotten rather dull around here, hasn't it?! We need some pics and some color, huh?!

Hubby has gone off to the dentist, so I thought I'd seize the opportunity and post pics of the patterns I got at the quilt show for some fun. (that's sure a tongue twister - post pics of the patterns!)

I'm going to need several lifetimes to accomplish all of this sewing and crafting, aren't I?! Everything was just so cute and all so new to me, it proved hard to resist. Of course this isn't one scintilla of all the good stuff there was ... I could have mortgaged the house and there still would have been more.

From Farmhouse Threads (Puddingstone Road and Gunny Shack Mercantile)

This icicle garland was just about my favorite thing and the photo
doesn't do it any justice at all. WAH! They have a photo of their booth at the quilt show on their blog and the garland is hanging up. Click on the third photo (in the group after the wedding photo - the 7/30 post) and it's on the right side, below the word "Road" in their booth banner. If you look down at the bottom of the photo, you can see the jars that the kit comes in. So charming, they are the master's of packaging and presentation!

  2. Hi Ellie!
Yup, my fall and my winter and I had better be reincarnated to finish all that stuff. Gosh, talk about one's eyes being too big, huh?! I went crazy, didn't I?! I'll know better next year and hopefully be able to sit on myself and my pocket book!
I wish you could have seen the icicle garland, so pretty! And the purse place, they had so many great patterns but so many had zippers, which I didn't want to mess with (it's been so long), so I picked this one. It was so great in person.
    Happy week to you,
    Sally
