random reds

My grandma's vintage notions.

Vintage holiday craft glitter and adhesive,
sent to my mom by her friend in 1962.

Joining in the Rednesday fun with Sue at It's A Very Cherry World.

  1. Those are great vintage notions from your grandmother. Definitely treasures you want to keep.

  2. Loved seeing your Grandmother's sewing notions, looks alot like my Grandmother's!

  3. Oh, I love vintage craft stuff. What a nice selection of pretty glitter and buttons. I see some crafting coming on with Valentines coming up. How's old George doing with the chemo? I hope he's tolerating it well. Have a great week!

  4. Very fun! I have some of my grandmother's sewing notions too. Made a shadowbox collage with some of them.

  5. I love your vintage red notions! Sweet!

  6. Thank you, Sally, for your visits and genuine comments. I am thankful for the wonderful blogging friendship we have discovered this past year.
Our little grandbaby is still hanging out in his womb...I'm still here in San Diego and plan on staying until after his comes. My husband will join us when baby arrives.

I love all your cheery bright red sewing notions and the fact that they were your Grandma's makes them even more special.
Have a great remainder of the week, my dear friend,
