I found many treasures while going through my parents things after my father passed away last year. One of things I found was this mauve
leather case, belonging to my fraternal grandmother. The contents
brought delight - vintage lace, collar pieces, gloves and a charming pin
cushion.
The discovery also brought some fun -
the leather case was from MALT O MEAL cereal!

You must be thrilled with those...and no, I don't clean my laces unless they have a smell, then a quick swish through some very lightly soapy warmish water and a quick pat to begin to dry and reshape. ReplyDeleteThe laces are beautiful. And the gloves! Don't you wish ladies still wore gloves like that? I had to laugh at the Malto Meal case. I know this sounds weird, but my brother sends me chocolate flavored Malto meal from Minnesota,because I eat it all the time for breakfast. We can't get the chocolate flavor here. One of life's little pleasures! Anyway, what a treasure trove you have there.
