Blitzen the Unhappy Reindeer

Hah! The things I've found in my parents stuff! I'm sharing this holiday recording today, Blitzen the Unhappy Reindeer, for Vintage Thingie Thursday. Uncle Archie, whoever he may be???, has even autographed the record sleeve. It was my brothers, so it must be circa the late forties, early fifties. The record is in pristine shape - sure wish I had a turn table to play it on. What fun that would be!

    Oh I would love to hear it. Have you done a google search to see if there's an MP3 out there somewhere? We have a turntable that converts your records to MP3s.

    I have several old records in all sizes. I finally found a player and now can enjoy real music.

    I have an older turntable and can play my records, but would also like to convert them to MP3s. Why buy again what I already have?

    That album is so neat and can't believe it's red. I sure wish some company would market and sell a turntable again.... so that we could play the old albums...that would be fun...Maybe you can find an old one at a yard sale that still works :)

    Thank you for your sweet comment. I have some records from the 70's and I do have a turn table I can listen to them, which I do sometimes. I have no Rudolph items, nice collection. Wishing you a wonderful New Year.

    Hang onto it -- you'll find a turntable one of these days! They do make some that you can use to transfer records to CD, but I think they're kind of pricey.
