I'm going to guess these items were my brothers and were handed down to me - truth be told, I don't recall a particular fondness for Dennis the Menace. I tried so hard to please when I was little that the character of Dennis on the 1959 TV series was annoying to me hahahha.

A fun vintage Dennis the Menace puppet - I tried Googling it for more info but couldn't really find any. I did find a vague reference that thought this was a Sears licensed item, in the late 50's.

Cute little puppet. I have a Mr Ed one, so they must of done them from the popular TV shows at the time.

ReplyDeleteI sure loved that Dennis the Menace movie that came out in I believe the 90s, so funny...I never have seen the black and white show though. I have never found any memorablia on my hunts ...I think you did good finding these :) Happy VTT!

ReplyDeleteI was always 'afraid' I was the only person who didn't like Dennis. Even if it was the only thing on t.v. I would still not watch an entire episode. I feel better now, knowing that someone else saw through that little....
ReplyDeleteI love it! I don't remember the puppet but my brother had a Dennis doll that was great, it was a gift in 1960. I have no idea where that goody went !
