My fourth mini sampler in A Swap For All Seasons, arrived at my partner Patty's mailbox, so I get to share it with you. WOOHOO! (Sorry for the eternally poor photos.) It's all about daffodils - I was thinking "April showers bring May flowers" and "Springtime" and found these darling vintage daffodil images to use.
What crafty fun are you up to?
Happy weekend to you!

Such a cute sampler...I'm sure Patty loves it...I would!
ReplyDeleteHi Debbie! Thank you, hoping Patty enjoys it! I forgot to say I had to make my own yellow fabric - I didn't have any and I was eager to get going when I was sick last month. I googled and found out I could use my ground Turmeric spice to dye my muslin yellow YIPPIE! Happy quilting weekend!
DeleteGreat job! adorable! cute swap idea! my hubby just brought in a little bouquet of daffodils that he picked in the yard for me last night. such sweet spring flowers!

Hi Vivian! Thank you! I had a lot of fun making it ... and going overboard with the daffodils LOL. Your sweet hubby, how great. Wish I had daffodils growing. I used to grow them at my previous house but they don't seem to do well at this one - need to research what I need to do. Happy weekend! xoxo
DeleteGorgeous sampler Sally, I am sure Patty will treasure tis x x x I have to send to you my sampler for the month of May....I can't find your email? so could you email me with your address please...
ReplyDeletemayoconnor@aol.com Hugs May x x x
Hi May! Thank you so much! I'm so sorry, I've deliberately not listed my email for fear of unwanted emails and it's not stopped unwanted/spam comments. I'm only just seeing your comment too, for some reason it didn't go to my email account, which is where I view my comments - I only check them on my blog every so often. I'll do better from now on. Yippie! I'm so excited to be your partner, doing my happy dance. Happy week to you! Sallly
DeleteBeautiful Sally! She must be so tickled to receive her sampler. I love Daffodils, our first spring flowers to bloom.
ReplyDeleteKeep sharing each month, love to see your creations!
Hugs, Pam
Hi Pam! Thank you! I love love love daffodils too - course I may have gone overboard this time hahhahahahaha
DeleteHappy week to you!
How sweet Sally! Your daffodils are so pretty and love the cute images you found to go with! What a perfect treat to show up to her door step! Hope you have a wonderful week!! xo Holly
ReplyDeleteHi Holly! Thank you, so sweet of you! I found a daffodil applique pattern online, I can't even draw stick figures, so the credit belongs to the designer. I had such fun looking at vintage images to use, the one of the little girl stitching is my favorite. Happy week to you - do you have 7 weeks to go? :)
