Waving hello to everyone! Instead of feeling better, I'm feeling worse sniffle sniffle achoo! I've got a bad head cold, with a really miserable sinus headache thrown in today. WHINE! I'm feeling antsy and bored, so silly - here I long for time to just do nothing but read and now given the time, I want to do something else. Ay yi yi.
So I thought I might already have some photos on my computer for Vintage Thingie Thursday, so here I am. I'll look forward to visiting everyone's blogs (Rednesday and VTT) in a few days! (thank you for your sweet comments on my Rednesday post!)
Please visit the Colorado Lady for info and a list of all the participants for Vintage Thingie Thursday.
These are three unused vintage postcards that I found in my maternal grandmother's things. I am guessing they are circa 1920???
Those are really cool vintage postcards. Makes me want to write something. So sorry you are ill and I do you hope you are feeling better soon.
ReplyDeleteMy what real treasures you have in those postcards. Be sure to hang onto them. Very nice post for VTT.
ReplyDeleteLove the old postcards! Especially the last one about being a Debtor!
ReplyDeleteHi Sally! I tried to post to you earlier and Blogger threw me out! How rude of him. Why do I think of Blogger like he is a man? Some British butler perhaps. Maybe I didn't approach him correctly. Maybe I should say pretty please. ;) How are you? You're still sick? We can't have that! (I love these postcards, btw. So cute!) Curl up with a good movie and a cuppa tea. xoxoxo Pam
ReplyDeleteThose are fun postcards. I was just thinking this week that i would like to find more old postcards with pen and ink.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun way to tell someone they are messing up! LOL Great graphics! :)
ReplyDeleteThose are cute...thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteOhhh,I love these sweet graphics. They're adorable. Happy VTT..
ReplyDeleteLove old postcards, they are becoming very hard to find although. Love the inks!!
ReplyDeleteHappy VTT
I love your vintage postcards and they must be so special since they're from your Grandma. Hope you feel better soon and have a Happy Mother's Day.
ReplyDeleteThey were very forceful in their suggestions to write back then, weren't they?! I love these old postcards, because they really couldn't just pick up a phone and call, so they relied on these cards and letters to keep in touch.
ReplyDeleteI hope you feel better real soon!
Happy VTT!
Carol
I agree with Carol, it's like "Write me now, or else!!" Still they are very very cute. Thanks for sharing and I hope you feel better soon.
