Charter for Compassion & Monday Blog Love

I saw this wonderful video from Charter for Compassion on a few blogs over the weekend.

On being awarded the $100,000 TED Prize in February 2008, Karen Armstrong called for a council of leading thinkers in the Abrahamic traditions of Judaism, Christianity and Islam to draw up a Charter for Compassion which would identify shared moral priorities in order to foster global understanding in the spirit of the Golden Rule.[1] The Charter was unveiled in Washington, D.C., in November 2009. Its signatories include Prince Hassan of Jordan, the Dalai Lama, Archbishop Desmond Tutu, and Sir Richard Branson.

  2. Hi Sally! I will come back and watch this - it looks interesting. This world could use a truckload full of compassion - and acceptance. How are you feeling? I hope you're all better - xoxo Pam
