An itch to stitch

Gosh I love the internet! There are lots of darling free Valentine cross stitch patterns out there for us to stitch up for our sweeties, for decorations, for gifties. (The following patterns are all in French but if you're familiar with counted cross stitch patterns, it won't matter at all.)

The above two darling free cross stitch pattern PDF's may be found at Gigi online blog.

  3. Hi Twyla!
Aren't the French stitchery blogs gorgeous?! I'm so glad you enjoy them too. I just sit there with my mouth hanging open, in awe of their beautiful work. And their finishing, they do their own finishing (at least they seem to) and it's perfection.
    Have a great weekend!

You're very welcome - got to share these lovely and free (so generous of the designers!) patterns.
I've pulled out a pattern and my frame and collected my threads and am hoping to begin a valentine design tonight! Hope you'll join me. :)

  5. I love the last one, Sally! I wish I had the patience to do one of these, but alas, I do not. :) It is gorgeous, though, and I am tempted!

  6. Hi Pam!
I just picked up your email and was coming over to visit you. :)
I'm so glad you enjoyed the hearts and I know what you mean, some days needlework feels so tedious, it makes me twitchy! ;) But on the alternate days, I love it! :)
But you've already got your hands very busy, so no need to add some embroidery - what I'd give to be able to draw and paint!!! You are so talented.
And back "atchoo" too! Happy happy happy!

  11. Hi Lori!

Isn't the last one pretty?! I agree, hand stitching can be very crazy making - I alternate between in driving me buggy and loving it - it's all about the mood I'm in. Thankfully most days it's calming.

    Happy Monday!

I'm guessing you'd enjoy cross stitch since your dolls are so intricate. Let me know if you give it a try!
